Poetry Performances

Chanje's face and grafitti 3 bwChanje Kunda won the BBC and New Writing North, Verb New Voices Competition 2015 and had been commissioned by them to produce poetry to be performed at the Freethinking Festival. This long form piece will be recorded live and broadcast on Ian McMillan’s programme ‘The Verb’ on BBC Radio 3 in Autumn 2015.

‘A fantastic performer and writer whose progress we should all be watching’

Lemn Sissay,

‘Kunda’s poetry is gorgeous – richly textured, poignant, funny, gloriously descriptive, cleverly constructed, and all delivered in her beautiful, deep, fruity voice.’
